Jake's Landing was not far from where I lived. This abandoned house boat is an arresting sight as she settles into the marsh. The gangway seems to warn, "You should not board, it is not safe." She seems to know one day she'll sink. Her portholes hide what goes on inside while her stairs are open to the sky. A spiritual paradox, don't you think?
