The Empire State Building is like a rocket ship taking off from mid-town Manhattan, every window a porthole to the world. Impressionistic, the sky reflects the details of the windows themselves. Swirling into a patterned bulls-eye, the tip of the monument thrusts itself skyward, taking our feet off the ground. Concurrently the morning sun bathes gold flashes against the azure blue of the sky.
