Indian corn seems to come in every color. The beautiful beads are like Victorian Jewelry. Tradition has it that those who display corn on their door celebrate the gift of LIFE. And the giving of corn as a gift is a cherished gesture of love with American Indians. I put this bountiful bouquet of Indian Corn in my favorite root basket. Then placed the still life in a landscape next to Bear Creek, in Colorado. Fall is everywhere. The harvest is ripe and plenty. The Gift of Life is yours.
