"Squaw Valley"
by Steve Tracy
This once hidden valley was carved out of granite by glacial flows. The
meadow is filled with rich alpine grasses, reeds and rushes. Beaver
ponds nourish the verdant carpet with new sediments. The mountains,
sculptured through a century of time, sit over Squaw Valley, the fair
maiden, with all the freshness of alpine smell and summer air. The
color breathes to life the crispness of the moment and joy of life.
